Aunt Carol's Gourmet Dips Recipes


Gourmet your burgers with ANY of our Savory Dip Packets.

Take 1 1/2 lbs. of ground beef or turkey and (we suggest) adding our Bacon Cheeseburger dry mix or Cheddar Jalapeño dry mix, to enhance a bold flavor. (Use more meat if preparing with a ‘hotter’ dip packet, and wear gloves when making).


Use our Roasted Herb and Garlic, Tuscan, Bruschetta or Italiano Specialty Dressing Olive Oils and add one cup of 100% Pure Olive Oil then toss with one pound of cooked Angel Hair pasta.


Shake and Bake chicken

with our South West Ranch dry mix packet. Slice 4 pieces of chicken breast into strips and toss in a Ziploc bag with our South West Ranch dry mix. Grill, and make chicken fajitas or a spicy chicken wrap.


Spice up your shrimp cocktail

and serve with our Snap Dragon (Vampire/Spicy Santa) dip.


Season your roast

by adding 2 cups of water to either of our Onion and Chive or Garlic Galore dry mix packet.


Sprinkle Dilly of a Dip on your fish/salmon, with a lemon wedge and a little oil, place in a foil wrap and bake.


To enhance your Alfredo Sauce

add 2 Tablespoons of our Zesty Parmesan dry mix packet.


Spread Crabby Franks Dip on 1” slices of a French baguette with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese on each slice. Bake on 350 degrees for 7-8 minutes.


Use our Roasted Herb and Garlic Olive Oil dry mix packet as a dry rub on chicken or pork chops.


Take 4 pieces of chicken breast and place in a baking pan, spread our Garlic Ranch Dip (already prepared as a dip, using 2 cups of sour cream). Sprinkle Italian bread crumbs on each piece, and bake for 45 minutes or until lightly brown.


Make a white pizza

using our Bruschetta Olive Oil mix with 2 Tablespoons of 100% Pure Olive Oil. Brush the mix on a pre package flatbread. Thinly slice tomato, mozzarella cheese, (add chicken, mushrooms, black olives, and/or spinach if desired). Bake on 325 degrees or until cheese is melted. (Package yields for 2 flatbread).


Serve as a warm dip in a crock pot by using one 8 oz. cream cheese and 8 oz. of sour cream. Add in one dry mix packet of our Chicken Cheese Tortilla Dip and 1 can of chicken or a rotisserie; or Crabby Franks Dip and 1 can of crab meat, shrimp, or imitation crab. Serve with pita bread pieces and enjoy.


Savory Dips

Add 1 Cup of Mayonnaise & One Cup of Sour Cream, non-fat products may be substituted. 2 Cups of Plain Greek Yogurt, Hummus or Tofu may be substituted.  Refrigerated 2 hours before serving.  Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.


Sweet Dips ( can make one 9" no bake cheesecake, 16 oz. of fruit dip, bagel spreads, or cake frosting)

Mix with 8 oz. softened cream cheese and 8 oz. whipped topping  with a hand mixer to fluff.   Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Before serving.  Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.


CHEESEBALLS

Mix 1 package of any Savory dip or Sweet mix with 16 oz softened cream cheese and roll into a ball. Roll ball in your favorite chopped or crushed nuts to coat. Chill in refrigerator for at least a few hours and serve with crackers.


RUBS

Our savory dips and gourmet olive oil blends work great as rubs on steak, roast beef, chicken or fish.


SHRIMP OR CHICKEN SCAMPI

Use a 1 lb shrimp or chicken breast. Cook pasta first. Mix Roasted Garlic & Herb Olive Oil Blend package with a  few drops of water. Then add 3/4 to 1 cup of 100% PURE olive oil and mix. Put only enough mixed oil blend to coat a frypan and cook seafood or chicken in it. When done, add cooked pasta and rest of mixture. Combine in the pan, optional: add grated cheese.


TEX MEX SALSA

One packet of our TEX MEX & mix it in with one 16 oz can of crushed pineapple in the pineapple juice. Stir & refrigerate for 2 hours.  Can be served with tortilla chips.

Also can be baked on chicken, pork, fish, endless possibilities.


GARLIC CHICKEN

Take 4 Boneless chicken breasts, 1 package Garlic Galore ( Other savory flavors can be substituted),  ½ cup 100% Pure olive oil, 1 tbsp vinegar.  Add all ingredients into a Ziploc bag and shake.  Let marinate in bag for an hour. Bake or grill chicken making sure to pour mixture over chicken.

After removing pull-apart from the oven, brush with more of the Roasted Garlic & Herb blend. Can be served with pasta or vegetables.


WINE SLUSH

1 bottle of Moscato, White, or Red Wine (your preference); 1 1/2 cups of water,
1 package of ACGD Wine Slush Mix; blend together. Add 3 cups of ice. Crush in blender or serve on the rocks.


FROZEN WINE SLUSH

1 bottle of Moscato, White, or Red Wine (your preference); 1 1/2 cups of water,
1 package of ACGD Wine Slush Mix; blend together. Freeze for 5-6 hours; overnight is best. Freeze and Enjoy!

Yields: approximately 2 quarts once made),

(You May substitute 1 cup of clear liquor and 1 cup juice or soda for the wine).
